Current Occupation

For the past 4 years, I have been the Creative Director for Publicis Denmark, managing the creative department, formerly Saatchi & Saatchi, which had declined to primarily servicing network jobs.

Through a restructure, a new team, and a new approach to our identity and positioning in the local field of agencies in Copenhagen and Denmark, we have brought the agency back to a standard where we can claim relevance once again, both being nominated and winning awards for first time in 7 years.

Approach & Philosophy

Creative agencies are primarily made up of people, and if the chemistry is off, the output suffers.

My philosophy, which I have practiced both as associated creative director at Adtomic and Creative Director at Publicis, is to find the right balance of people, temperament, and synergy so that working together becomes fun and inspiring.

It's the right mix of experience and youthful energy that creates success while also allowing everyone to shine and find individual rewarding roles as creatives.

Life Experience

I've been drawing, painting, creating, and crafting my entire life. Whether it's a big project or a small one, I approach every task with the same level of passion and strict attention to detail.

With over 15 years of experience in visual communication, design development, and art direction, I've created unique concepts and brand identities across a wide range of BtC and BtB clients.

I'm also a father to 11-year-old Hugo. Outside of my professional life, I spend many hours co-creating stories, visualizing surreal structures, and one-of-a-kind space monsters with him.

For me, creativity isn't a job, it’s probably more a way of being, also why I find it both fun and challenging at the same time. And I bring that same level of enthusiasm to every project I work on.

New Challenges

Why am I applying for creative director at fritz hansen? While I have contributed my best in the transition and rebooting of Publicis Denmark, I find that many of the clients do not align with my preferred working style. I miss working with design, design technology and purpose at a more profound level than what the network and agency profile currently offer.

My greatest takeaway from this experience has been the challenge of building a team that can create a positive creative impact. I take a lot of pride in the achievements and goals we have accomplished along this journey, but also ackownledges that my time has come to contributed else where.
